What exactly is RVS Technology®?

Answer: RVS Technology® Tribo(nano-)Ceramics can be consider as an advanced mode of cure for engines, gearboxes and other mechanisms. If your device has normal wear problems like noise, smoking, too high consumption of oil or fuel, decrease of power and compression level, unbalance and vibrations RVS Technology has the capacity to restore it.

RVS Technology works also as a preventive method, protecting your mechanisms against coming wear. For example treatment of car parts will protect your car from serious problems in the future.


What does RVS mean?

Answer: RVS Technology® is a multiply patented brand and an acronym of words Requlated Variable Surface. The latest RVS Technology products alone have the property to automatically sense the hardness of the base metal surfaces and to adjust the hardness of the produced triboceramic surfaces accordingly.


RVS is claimed to be autoreactive. What does that mean?

Answer: It means that RVS compound, due to it's properties of reacting in a certain temperature reacts in spots that produce heat. In other words, RVS Technology has the ability to automatiically identify objects and points prone to wear and damage by "locating" the source of the thermal energy (heat) produced by the friction and its capacity to react and modify these friction surfaces.


Does autoreactive mean the same as “revitalization?”

Answer: The term "revitalization" is a misleading expression in this context. Some imitation products as well as medical and cosmetic companies claiming rejuvenation and anti-ageing effects use that when promoting their products. Revitalization is needed by the "almost dead", but mechanisms in such bad shape cannot be restored or cured by even the autoreactive TriboCeramics anymore.

Post-effect

Once the new coating is formed as a result of RVS treatment, it retains its unique properties regardless of the presence or absence of RVS Technology compound in the lubricant. As the compound is fully transfered and integrated to the metal friction surfaces, oil changes do not affect the treatment results in any way.

The unique restoration and protection properties of the coating can be observed from the following test. A scratch on the working surface remains covered still after 10 oil changes with an estimated oil change interval of 10,000 km (6,200 miles). Such a fantastic post-effect is possible due to the restoration properties of the coating and the gained potential of contracting inner stresses.
